Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Story AI mobile application ("App") provided by Rasim Eren Karakaş ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you accept these Terms.

1. Description of the Service

Story AI is a mobile app that provides AI-powered personalised story and image generation. The service is available in a free tier (ad-supported and subject to daily limits) or a paid subscription (premium).

2. Eligibility and Age

• The App is intended for users who are legally allowed to use it in their jurisdiction.
• Users under 13 should use the App only under parental or guardian supervision.
• Paid subscription and store transactions may be subject to age and authority requirements under store and local law.

3. Account and Identity

• The App can be used without signing in, using an anonymous user ID.
• This ID is stored on your device; we do not collect email or password.
• Resetting your device or uninstalling the App may result in loss of this ID and related local data.

4. Acceptable Use

When using the App you must not:

• Use it in violation of law or third-party rights
• Use automated requests, bots, or scripts that overload or disrupt the service
• Circumvent subscription, payment systems, or usage limits
• Use another person's device or identity without permission
• Redistribute generated content commercially except as allowed under the licence terms below

Violation may result in restriction or termination of access to the service.

5. Subscription, Payment and Cancellation

• Free use: Daily story creation limits and ads apply. Limits are enforced in the app and on our servers.
• Premium subscription: Unlimited stories (within our usage policy and technical limits) and additional features. Subscription is managed via Adapty and the App Store or Google Play.
• Price and period: Price and subscription period are as shown in the store and in the app.
• Cancellation and refunds: Cancellation and refund requests are handled according to App Store or Google Play policies; store rules apply.
• Cooldown: To prevent abuse, a cooldown period may apply to premium users after creating many stories in a short time.

6. Intellectual Property and Generated Content

• All rights in the App, including the interface, logo, and brand, belong to Rasim Eren Karakaş.
• Generated stories and images: Story text and images you create with the App are yours for personal, non-commercial use. You may use in-app features to share, print, or export them (e.g. as PDF). Commercial use (resale, bulk distribution, use as a product or brand, etc.) requires separate written permission.
• AI-generated content may be subject to applicable law on copyright and liability; if in doubt, seek legal advice.

7. Limitation of Liability

• The App is provided "as is". Story and image output is generated automatically; we do not guarantee accuracy or suitability of content.
• For use with children, we recommend that parents or guardians review content.
• Third-party services (Adapty, stores, ad providers) are subject to their own terms and policies; we are not responsible for issues arising from those services.
• Except where the law requires otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the service.

8. Privacy

Processing of your personal and usage data is described in our Privacy Policy. By accepting these Terms you also confirm that you have read and accept the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes and Termination

• These Terms may be updated. Material changes will be announced in the App or on our website.
• Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the new Terms.
• We may restrict or terminate your access in case of violation or for security reasons.
• Cancelling your subscription does not invalidate the Terms you accepted before cancellation.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
• Disputes are subject to the courts and enforcement authorities of the Republic of Turkey (no mandatory arbitration unless agreed in writing).
