This Privacy Policy describes how Rasim Eren Karakaş ("we", "us") collects, uses, processes, and shares data in the Story AI mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

• Automatically: Through app usage, anonymous identifiers, and technical diagnostics.

2.1 Anonymous Identifier and Device Information

• Anonymous User ID: A randomly generated identifier created on your device. This ID is not linked to your real name or email.
• Device Information: Operating system, device type, app version, crash logs, and similar technical data for service functionality and troubleshooting.

2.2 Usage Data

• Story creation count and timestamps: Used to enforce daily limits and premium subscription rules.
• Subscription status: Free or premium status for feature access management.

2.3 Content Data (User-Entered Inputs)

• Story parameters: Age range, category, language, reading duration, story style, and optional character names or locations.
• Prompt text: Any custom text or ideas you voluntarily enter to generate a story.

This content is transmitted securely via API to our third-party AI service provider solely for the purpose of generating story content. We do not attach your real name, email address, or payment information to this content.

2.4 Subscription and Payment

• Subscription and payment processing: Managed through Adapty and the App Store / Google Play.
• We do not store credit card or payment details on our servers.

2.5 Advertising

• Advertising identifiers: Used by Google Mobile Ads to display ads to free users.
• Ad data processing is subject to Google's privacy policies.

3. How We Use Data

4. AI Processing and User Consent

When you generate a story, the App transmits the story parameters and prompt text you voluntarily provide to our third-party AI service provider, OpenAI, via secure API connection.

By actively submitting a story prompt or parameters, you explicitly consent to the transmission and processing of that content by OpenAI for the purpose of generating story output.

If you do not agree to this processing, you should not use the story generation feature.

We do not send personal identifiers such as your real name, email address, or payment information to OpenAI.

5. Third-Party Services

• OpenAI (AI Processing Provider): Processes story prompts and parameters solely to generate AI content. Data is transmitted securely via API and handled under OpenAI’s privacy and data protection policies.
• Adapty (Subscription Management): Handles subscription validation and in-app purchase status.
• Google Mobile Ads: Provides advertising services and may process advertising identifiers.
• App Store / Google Play: Process subscription payments and related billing information.

We share only the data necessary for these services to function. These providers are required to maintain appropriate data protection standards.

6. Data Storage and Security

• Data is processed through secure infrastructure and trusted third-party providers.
• We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.
• Anonymous identifiers and usage data are retained only as long as necessary.
• Payment information is never stored on our servers.

7. Children's Privacy

Story AI may generate content suitable for children (e.g., ages 3–5 or 6–8). The App should be used by children under 13 only under parental or guardian supervision.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Data collected is limited to anonymous identifiers and usage data necessary for service functionality.

8. Your Rights

• Access: You may request information about the data associated with your anonymous ID.
• Deletion: You may request deletion of stored usage data.
• Restriction or Objection: Where applicable under law (e.g., GDPR).
• Complaint: You may lodge a complaint with a relevant data protection authority.
