1. GENERAL INFORMATION

SecretDiary is a mobile application that allows users to securely store personal diary entries. We respect your privacy and take care to protect your personal data.

2. DATA COLLECTED

2.1 Locally Stored Data

The App stores the following data only on your device:

• Diary Entries: Title, content, date, category, mood, tags, favorite status
• App Settings: PIN code (encrypted), theme preference, language preference
• Usage Data: In-app preferences and settings

Important: This data is never sent to our servers or shared with third parties. All data is stored only on your device.

2.2 Subscription Data

RevenueCat service is used for subscription management. RevenueCat may collect the following data:

• Device Information: Device identifier, platform information (iOS/Android)
• Subscription Information: Subscription status, purchase history
• User Identifier: Anonymous user identifier created by RevenueCat

2.3 Data Not Collected

The following data is definitely not collected:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Location information
• Contact list
• Photos or media files
• Browser history or other app data
• Analytics data (usage statistics, crash reports)

3. DATA USE

3.1 Purpose of Data Use

Collected data is used only for the following purposes:

• Providing the App's core functionality
• Managing subscriptions and processing payments
• Remembering your app settings
• Providing security features (PIN protection)

3.2 Data Sharing

Your personal diary data is never shared. Limited data sharing with RevenueCat occurs only for subscription management.

4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

4.1 Data Storage Location

• All diary entries and personal data are stored on your device (AsyncStorage)
• Data is not stored on our servers
• Data is not backed up to cloud services

4.2 Data Security

• Data is stored in your device's local storage
• You can add an extra layer of security to your data with the PIN protection feature
• Data is not stored in encrypted format; your device's security is important

4.3 Data Deletion

• When you delete the App from your device, all data is automatically deleted
• You can manually delete data from within the App
• It is your responsibility to back up your data

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

5.1 RevenueCat

The App uses RevenueCat service for subscription management. RevenueCat:

• Manages your subscription status
• Processes payment transactions
• Stores your subscription history

5.2 App Store and Play Store

Payment transactions are processed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The privacy policies of these platforms apply.

6. USER RIGHTS

6.1 Access to Your Data

• You can access all your data through the App
• You can view, edit, and delete your data

6.2 Right to Delete Data

• You can delete your data at any time
• You can delete all your data by deleting the App
• You can delete subscription data in RevenueCat by cancelling your subscription

6.3 Data Portability

• Your data is stored in JSON format on your device
• A feature to manually export your data is currently not available

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will immediately delete that data.

8. DATA BREACHES

Since your data is stored on your device, there is no traditional "data breach" risk. However:

• It is your responsibility to ensure your device's security
• It is recommended that you use the PIN protection feature
• If your device is lost or stolen, there is no remote deletion feature available

9. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

The App does not use cookies, pixel tags, or similar tracking technologies. No analytics or advertising tracking is performed.

10. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFER

Since your data is stored on your device, international data transfer is not applicable. However, RevenueCat service may store data on international servers. In this case, RevenueCat's privacy policy applies.

11. LEGAL COMPLIANCE

11.1 KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law)

This Privacy Policy has been prepared in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) of the Republic of Turkey.

11.2 GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)

Since the App stores data on the device, it has limited liability under GDPR. However, RevenueCat service is subject to GDPR.

12. POLICY CHANGES

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Significant changes will be:

• Notified within the App
• Reflected in the "Last Updated" date on this page
• Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy
